Recreational vehicle owners stopping last minute at Yellowstone National Park now have a wide variety of campsites to choose from.
Due to large amounts of snowfall in the early spring Yellowstone has had an exceptionally high amount of cancellations, leaving spaces available for RVers stopping by without reservations. According to the Wyoming Business Report, Xanterra Parks and Resorts, the operator of five Yellowstone campgrounds, has seen lower numbers in occupancy and reservations.
"The good news is recent warm temperatures and generally drier weather patterns have resulted in snow-free and dry campgrounds," Rick Hoeninghausen, director of sales and marketing for Xanterra, told the news source.
There are more than 1,400 camping sites located at Yellowstone that can be booked by reservation.
Traveling in an RV is one of the best ways to explore some of the best national parks that our country has to offer. According to Woodalls, RV parks come in a variety of different sizes so you can tailor your selection to what is best for you. RV vacations are a great way to get out, meet new people, and explore the countryside.
