Drivers with an eye for fifth wheel travel trailers may be in luck, as MVP RV has announced that it will soon be expanding its operations with the addition of two new factories in California. The facilities were formerly owned by Fleetwood Enterprises, but were sold off when the company filed for bankruptcy in March 2009. MVP was able to snap up these properties for a mere $18.6 million and will begin producing its familiar line of travel trailers, toy haulers and fifth wheel trailers within the next several months, according to The Press Enterprise. Thanks to a recently established financial partnership with South Korean firm CT&T, MVP may actually begin producing electric vehicles for their foreign partners, though CEO Brad Williams declined to comment on the matter when questioned by the news provider. Drivers who enjoy Fleetwood RVs need not despair, however, as the company has emerged under new ownership and consolidated all production of motorhomes and travel trailers to its holdings in the Indiana area.
