Being a fulltimer in an RV doesn't necessary mean you are stationary for many days in a row. Some people can't seem to settle down and continue to travel across state lines for years in a row. The need for an effective way to clean clothes and remain mobile has developed, and there are several ways to accommodate those needs in an RV.
Depending on the size of your rig, you may be able to install a washer/dryer combo in your unit. Offering similar comforts to a stationary home, the combo device is much more affordable than in the past and it will last for years.
However, not every rig has the space needed for a traditional washer and dryer. There are many portable washing machines on the market and, although they often require manual labor, they effectively get the job done.
For travelers that are not always close to a laundry service, clean clothes becomes more of a luxury than a necessity. Finding inventive and affordable ways to clean garments is just part of the fun of being on the road.
