Owners of class C motorhomes typically have a sense of adventure about them that will take them to far off and exotic locales on exploratory missions with friends and family. As such, these drivers tend to tire of more common and popular destinations in favor of a more unique and memorable location that may be a touch off the beaten path. RVers seeking to explore a beautiful region that only gets better off season may want to head to the Oregon Coast for a relaxing beachside camping excursion one won't soon forget. In the latest edition of the Seattle Times' RVing 101 Blog, travel writer and avid RVers Brian Cantwell claims that the Pacific coast of the Beaver State is an intoxicating place to explore and relax. The region is notoriously rainy, making an RV almost a necessity for a camping trip. Finding accommodation on this exploratory journey should be no problem, as the lengthy stretch of coastline boasts 64 state parks and recreation sites (18 with private campgrounds) as well as countless private RV parks and resorts, according to the news provider. Heading off season also makes for smooth sailing, or as Cantwell puts it: "For RV camping on the Oregon coast, it's hard to beat spring or fall, when campgrounds open up, reservations aren't needed and you're not lumbering along in an endless parade of traffic on Highway 101."
