Skyline Corporation, a leading recreational vehicle dealer, published a report stating that they sold $3,216,000 more in RV sales in the third quarter of 2011 than in 2010. The positive information sheds light onto how RVs are once again becoming popular in the United States.
Sales are on the rise, and with consumers jumping at the opportunity to purchase new or used motorhomes, manufacturers are developing innovative floor designs to entice even more individuals into the RV community. In 2011, the L-shaped floor layout has been groundbreaking for the industry.
Emerging in the end of 2011 are more roomy floor layouts that provide passengers more personal space and more storage space at the same time. In the sleep quarters, beds often lift up, revealing a plethora of space for items that are not needed on a daily basis. In addition, RV manufacturers are providing consumers with more technologically savvy RVs. Many new designs are built to house entertainment systems and have wireless capabilities. The developments have upgraded these moving homes into more desirable vehicles for younger consumers.
