Recreational vehicle enthusiasts planning a trip to Kansas may want to wait until next spring. That's because Bill Morris is hoping to open Air Capital RV Park in Wichita, and according to The Wichita Eagle, it is expected to be in an excellent location.
The construction of the park is a long time coming. Morris bought the land 20 years ago, and only recently decided what to do with it. The park will have more than 90 spots for RVs, and is in the perfect spot right off the Kansas Turnpike. In addition to the popular Kansas Star Casino, there is plenty to do near the planned park.
"You know what they say in real estate: location, location, location. Well, in this location, within one block of the entrance of my park, there's 24 places to eat," Morris told the news source. "It'll be the nicest one in this part of the country."
Morris added that the number of people driving RVs may be on the way up over the next several years, and signs are indicating that he's probably right. According to the Recreational Vehicle Industry Association, nearly one in seven households owns an RV.
