RV brands that have been bestsellers in the past have continue to be driver's top picks in 2010, according to RV Business.
Some of the most popular models that consumers purchased last year include the Keystone Montana fifth-wheel, Jayco's Jay Fight travel trailer, Phaeton diesel-powered class A motorhome, Forest River's Georgetown gas class A and many more, the news source reported.
The Coachmen gas class C motorhome and the Forest River Rockwood were the only vehicles that were newcomers to the bestseller list for 2010. For the 10th year in a row, the Montana had the most sales with 9.4 percent of retail fifth-wheel market. In second was the Jayco Jay Flight with 6.4 percent, according to the Statistical Surveys Inc.
"Loyalty is important," Bob Martin, Keystone President, told the news provider. "Members of the Montana Owners Club are incredibly loyal. After they buy a Montana, they just won't buy anything else. Montana is user friendly and loaded with features with quality that no one else can match."
Sid Johnson, Jayco's marketing director, added that more young people and families are buying motorhomes because of improved features.
