Camping in RVs is a popular hobby among many Americans. Recreational resorts across the country become mobile communities when it's nice out and offer a unique chance to escape the hectic work week.
For many families, RVing is a way of life. Traveling cross-country and experiencing different regions of their homeland is a rewarding venture. For families with service members or retired veterans, there are private camping sites geared toward their interests that provide a private setting to settle in for a few weeks throughout the year.
The Kennedy Athletic, Recreational and Social Park (KARS) in Orlando, Florida, recently opened its doors to members of the service as a way to provide serene sights to our soldiers. The private campsite requires an annual membership fee, but for a small price, families can gain access to large amounts of land where they can set up camp.
Located directly on the Kennedy Space Center's grounds, it is a perfect site to watch rockets being tested and launched into orbit. For any aviation admirer, the location is perfect to bring the family and enjoy once in a lifetime experiences.
