 Canadian drivers looking for a good time this summer may want to head to Camrose, Alberta, as the new Camrose Exhibition Trail RV Park has opened its doors with more than 107 sites for rent or lease to drivers sporting everything from towable five-wheel travel trailers to new class A motor homes.
The facility, which is owned and operated by the Camrose Regional Exhibition, has been a long time in the making, with CRE manager Wynn McLean telling the Camrose Canadian that the project has been in the works since around 1982.
"It's not that we [didn't] keep our promises, it just [took] us a little while," Mclean told the news provider. "Our intentions were good. It just takes a little time to fulfill those promises, but we did and are very proud of it."
Drivers can expect 30-50 AMP power, shower facilities, picnic tables and pits at every site. Other amenities of note include a children's playground, a separate tenting area for more traditional campers and a confectionary that offers up many much needed suppliers for RVers.
McLean hopes to expand the site, telling the news source that they hope to add an additional 125 sites within the next five to 10 years.
