Drivers heading across the country in a class B motor home tend to have a diverse array of interests and destinations. Those drivers crossing the Keystone State may soon have a new destination in mind, as an investor group is considering building a new RV park at a forthcoming casino being planned for urban Pennsylvania. The Penn Harris Gaming Group is currently seeking a license to convert an existing Holiday Inn in Harrisburg into a $75 million casino that would feature thrilling games, exciting shows and - if all goes according to plan - a 36 space RV park. While the move has caused a minor stir in the local community, PHG investor John Donnelly insists that an investment in the RVing community is a wise move on the facility's part. "Many of you don't know that that's a very, very big market in gaming throughout the country," he told a group of potential investors, as reported by the local CBS affiliate. "Circus Circus on the [Las Vegas] strip has an RV park that has been very, very successful." If the bid is successful, the facility will house up to 600 slot machines and 50 table games, according to CrunchCasino.com.
