When shopping for travel trailers, RVers have a wealth of makes, models and floorplans to search through before they find the one that's right for them. Well that choice may have become that much more difficult as a new face has entered the RV game with their sights set on being the top name in travel trailers and toy haulers. Echo Manufacturing may be a new name in the industry, but the company's president, Mike Scheetz, is an RV veteran. Scheetz launched the Elkhart, Indiana, based company to give drivers more diversity in the lightweight trailer segment. The first models to come from the company are the American Spirit and Canadian Spirit travel trailers and the Bandit APH multi-purpose toy hauler. Each was designed to be mobile and light, in an effort to appeal to those drivers "wanting to hail and camp for less," Sheetz tells the RV News Service. Drivers may see new varieties of these models in the coming months, as the news source reports that the company has earned floor plan financing from Bank of America. "This is exciting news for our company and our customers, and will help us launch to the next level," said Sheetz.
