 For individuals who do not have the money to invest in a recreational vehicle, this holiday season may be the perfect time to rent one. Cars and hotels are not the only option when travelers are visiting family in the U.S. or Canada, according to TTG Live.
RV rentals began in the 1970s, but models have seen many enhancements since individuals began hitting the open road. Motorhome dealers have benefited from the rise in popularity of RV vacations. A growth in the number of suppliers has also made it easier for travelers to rent motorhomes.
"The good thing about motorhome bookings is that they are very easy," product manager Julie Thompson told the news source. "However, there is a lack of product knowledge as it is a speciality area with many types of vehicles on offer - and the misconception that it is like a caravan. They offer so much more."
Across the United States and Canada, motorhome renters can book anything from 32-foot bus style models to truck campers with beds. Most RVs also now come with luxury accommodations, such as large refrigerators and leather seats. To cut back on traveling costs this holiday season, families may benefit from renting a motorhome.
