 While many RVers taking to the open road hoping to experience the American countryside by roughing it in their class C motor home, others prefer a more relaxed and calm trip where they can enjoy the peace and serenity of nature while sleeping comfortably in their vehicle. Drivers hoping to get some luxury while on vacation may be interested in heading to Casper, Wyoming, as a newly opened RV campground hopes to provide RVers with a decidedly upscale experience.
The Rivers Edge RV & Cabins Resort is a sizable park located just one mile north of the interstate to both provide easy access for those traveling to and from the park and allow campers enough distance to avoid common traffic noises. As the name would suggest, the facility sits on the banks of the North Platte River and features numerous oversized parking spaces capable of accommodating even a full-sized class A motor home with room to spare.
River's Edge is the result of a joint partnership between four local business owners, who wanted to create a place where they could take their families.
"We always wanted to be involved in an RV park so this was an opportunity we couldn't pass up," Reggie Jordan, the property manager told the Casper Journal. "We’re absolutely thrilled."
