These days, most groups have a large gathering of like-minded individuals where they can meet and greet their contemporaries and discuss the hobbies, interests or activities that bind them. Music fans have the Bonnaroo music festival, football fans have tailgate parties and used motorhome drivers have "The Rally."
The Rally is the largest assembly of RV owners, drivers and manufacturers in the nation, and annually draws thousands of drivers from across the country to the city of Louisville, Kentucky. The event is part festival, part expo and features a little something for drivers of all shapes and sizes.
This year drivers can check out the latest tools, accessories and innovations from some of the biggest manufacturers as retailers will be showcasing more than 1,000 models of RV on the fairgrounds.
Drivers can learn more about their machines at any of the 30 daily educational seminars being held at the event, check out some classic motorhomes and campers at the "living history" RV museum and enter into any number of competitions to see whose vehicle is the oldest, fastest or most customized.
Families can also enjoy live entertainment from veteran deadpan comedian Bob Newhart, and the soothing sounds of country siren Tanya Tucker.
