 Plans for an RV park in Belmont, Texas, have been approved by Gonzales County Commissioners.
The park, called Belmont Park Estates, fell under controversy from some of the members of the town who have safety concerns with its location, according to the Gonzales Inquirer.
People are concerned with the parking along the state highway near the new park location. According to the news source, it will be directly across from the Belmont Social Club, where the parking situation is already a cause for concern.
“Since this is a state highway, TxDot should do something about this,” said constable Raleigh Measom. “I think it would be a good idea for them to build a parking lot.”
There are new RV parks being built constantly and there are thousands that can be found across the country making them a great option for family vacations, according to Woodalls. Parks offer a multitude of activities ranging from playgrounds, swimming pools, mini-golf and game rooms.
