RV Manufacturer Started In 1968

Monaco Coach roots back to 1968 with the formation of Caribou Coach Corporation. They then evolved into Monaco Motor homes, Inc., and out of that, in 1987, Monaco Coach Corporation was born. Monaco RV soon established itself as the premier manufacturer of highline, luxury, and diesel motor homes. Monaco Coach became a publicly traded company on the NYSE in 1993, under the symbol MNC. In 1996, Monaco purchased Holiday Rambler giving the company an outstanding lineup of gasoline and diesel motor homes as well as travel trailers and fifth wheels. Holiday Rambler gave Monaco a strong presence in the towable RV market. In 1998, Monaco launched the McKenzie line of travel trailers and fifth wheels. 2001 brought the acquisition of Safari and Beaver motor coaches.

Today Monaco Coach has headquarters in Coburg, Oregon, Elkhart, and Wakarusa, Indiana. The company is one of the fastest growing manufacturers in today’s recreational vehicle market and the largest manufacturer of Class “A” motor homes.
